Call for Papers

Macao International Symposium on Accounting and Finance 2013
November 24 – 27(Sunday to Wednesday), 2013
Venue: Macao Polytechnic Institute, Macao, China

The Macao Accounting and Finance Association would like to invite you to submit your research papers for presentation consideration at its 2013 symposium. The symposium is partnering with Macao Polytechnic Institute.

Papers in all areas of accounting and finance are welcome. Papers in either English or Chinese will be considered. Papers should be submitted online (use link below)

The submission deadline is Wednesday, 31 July 2013 and corresponding authors will be notified of the results of the review by August 15, 2013. For inclusion of your presentation in the conference program, at least one author must register. The deadline to pay the registration fee is September 24, 2013.


Regular registration fee: USD280.00

Discounted registration fee for students and companions: USD180.00

(The registration fee covers conference materials, one light dinners, one conference dinner, three lunches, five coffee breaks, and a complimentary half-day city tour for delegates from outside of Macao. The registration fee does not cover hotel and travel costs.)

Presented papers (except those of members of the organizing committee) are eligible for the Best Paper Awards. Up to three best papers will be selected one of which may be reserved for PhD students. Each will be awarded MOP8,000 (around USD1,000) with the support of Macao Foundation.
